Superman – Original 1978 Krypton citizens costume. Bermans & Nathans

ORIGINAL SUPERMAN 1978 KRYPTON CITIZENS COSTUME BERMANS & NATHANS
This is an original Krypton costume that was made for the destruction of Krypton scene at the beginning of the 1978 film Superman. The costume is made from a heavyweight fabric almost in a kaftan style with very wide full sleeves & a hood to the back & reflective panelling to the front & all edgings. The costume fastens to the front with a zip & carries the original Bermans & Nathans label with production details.
Fair condition, there doesn’t seem to be any cracking to the reflective panelling but there is some discolouration & some marks to the costume. The costume would look nice on display as the label can clearly be seen & would frame nicely.
